Just a short post to say how awesome our God is.
He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
My heart is overjoyed to be in His presence and care – always.
He is here.
He is my refuge, my strength, my shield and my song.
Listening to the still, small voice of God beats any noise put together on the world’s stage.
Today, I am looking at the eternal. I am focusing not on what is seen, but what is unseen.
In the middle of the suffering, the pain, the sorrow, the wickedness and the fear that we experience, we have an advocate, Jesus Christ, who petitions for us to God the Father in heaven.
It is because of Christ that we can be in a relationship with God. Nothing can separate us from God’s love, because Christ restored the brokenness and made it so beautiful.
God is not distant. He is not indifferent to what is going on in our world. Far from it.
Psalm 7:11 says: ‘God is a righteous judge, and a God who feels indignation every day.’
If God is righteous and He is indignant at what He sees happening to His children on earth, then we can rest knowing that nothing is bigger or greater than Him. He cares for us. He aches with us when our hearts are torn.
He is a God of love – a God of detail. That is why He has made a way through the blood of Jesus which covers all of our sins; it has made us holy, and without spot or blemish. We are perfect in Christ! Amen!
He is letting the events on earth take place, but nothing is outside of His control. There will be an end to all of the injustice and pain we see around us. God has set the time for His glorious return. Things are set to get worse. But we take comfort trusting the One who knows all things.
Come to Him, for He cares for you deeply. Bring all your hurts, concerns and worries to Him. He loves you.
