I’ve only just started writing again, and now I’m disappearing?
Well, not quite. You see, I have very limited time to write at the moment (being at home with young children does that), so I am trying to be a bit more organised! My blog will continue and I aim to post content here regularly. I just need a little bit of time to plan posts, other writing projects I want to work on and all of the other fun stuff that goes with writing.
It’s such a delight to be writing again. I compare it to having a long, overdue catch up with a friend over coffee and cake (there must be cake). It’s warm (that’s probably the chair), it’s enjoyable, it’s needed, it’s personable, it’s good for the mind, it’s even better for the soul. Yes, coffee and friendship are good things. If we haven’t caught up in a while. let’s make some time for it, yes?
Anyways…
Thank you for continuing to read my words.
Did you know that when I was in college and was considering my future, I knew I wanted to write and to help people? That really hasn’t changed. It’s broad enough an aim so that it can be moulded in different seasons in what it looks like. But that is my overarching purpose in what I am doing here. Writing and (hopefully) helping people. That, and to love, honour, glorify and enjoy God. I pray that I will never lose sight of that.
I appreciate you taking time out to read the writing of an almost-30-something believer in Jesus. As our world is shifting in so many ways, I am seeking out some time to just be. To pray about what next. What is my role as a Christian writer in these times? The noise online is loud isn’t it? I hope to bring something that speaks truth and life into the uncertainty and fear that I know many are feeling right now.
Crafting words of hope for times of hopelessness.
Friends, please pray for me as I take time to think and pray it all through.
